  TD - Land Resource Industry Application Software Product Series

1. Overview
Based on GEOWAY technology, GEOWAY developed TD series software packages to meet the needs of Land resource industry. TD series is the fruit of GEOWAY’s deep participation in Land Resource Industry, which are GEOWAY application software packages for Land Resource information application. TD series includes:

2. TD-Planner - landuse planning assistan system

2.1. Overview

TD-Planner - landuse planning assistan system is designed for national landuse planning design. It is cooperatively developed by GEOWAY and Land Surveying and Planning Institute of China, and it is consistent to the latest landuse planning standards and data standards.

TD-Planner integrates technologies such as GIS, MIS, OA etc., is an professional application system integrating spatial data processing and industry application. It wins the title of "honor software" in national GIS software testing conference.

2.3. Functions

The modules of TD-Planner are divided according to data flow in the system. TD-Planner realizes the integrated operating and managing of data, and ensures the conformity and integrity of data. TD Planner is designed according the operation of landuse planning , and support the workflow customization and project management. The structure of the system is shown in following map.

Data pre-processing Module:
Data preprocessing module provides special data processing tools to deal with the complicated planning data sources. This module inherits the powerful spatial data processing functions of GEOWAY data processing platform, provides standard spatial data processing, spatial data conversion, raster image processing workflow. Data preprocessing module include functions such as image rectification, spatial data vectorization and processing, data transformation, quality checking etc.

Data management Module:
Supported by multi-source database technology, data management module realize the construction and maintenance of database, which include all former basic materials related. This module realized diverse, flexible and integrated management of various data, including status data, former planning data, investigating data, statistical data, text data, spatial data and non-spatial data.

Plan Compiling Module:
Plan compiling module is used to organize and schedule landuse planning information in the plan compiling database, assist users to complete plan compiling tasks according to workflow. The module is divided into five operation modules: status analysis, demand forecast, supply forecast, demand and supply balancing, and schema confirming, two tool modules: database browsing, and modeling.

3. TD-Checker - landuse database quality checking package

3.1. Overview

TD-Checker is consigned by Landuse Resource Office of Land Surveying and Design Institute of China. It is used in County/city level landuse database quality checking. The software is powerful, flexible, easy to use. The workflow of quality checking is highly automatizing, the checking result is standard and authorized. TD-Checker is now used in landuse quality checking of 1:10,000 landuse database.

3.2. Characteristics

TD-Checker 2.0 adopts automatic batch processing and interactive methods to checking the result of data

  • Automatic batch checking to improve the efficiency and conformity of result
  • Interactive checking used in special processing and checking of regional data, and checking the integrity of data by overlapping image data and database.

The authority of data checking:
The development of TD-Checker is consigned by Landuse Resource Office of Land Surveying and Design Institute of China. It is conform to related technical standards, such as "County/City Landuse Database Standard" and "Technical Standard of County/City Landuse Database Construction".

3.3. Checking contents

The checking contents of TD-Checker 2.0 including the geometric and attribute accuracy of graphic data, consistency of graphic and attributes, accuracy of raster data rectification, the integrity of result data etc.

  • Integrity of layer: the number and naming of layer
  • Integrity of attributes: checking the field number, name, type, length, and affiliation of attributes
  • Graphic: checking the geometric error of graphics
  • Attributes: checking the value and logic of attributes
  • Topology: checking the spatial topology of graphics
  • Border fitting: Checking the graphic and attribute consistency of two bordering maps
  • Contrasting analysis: ensure the accuracy of landuse types by multiple statistical analysis methods
  • Raster map: checking the quality and rectification accuracy of raster data
  • Overlapping: checking the accuracy of landuse type attribute and data collectingby overlapping image map

4. TD-Keeper - ortho-image consistency checking package

4.1. Overview
The consistency checking of orho-images is a very important step in Land Resource investigation. Image checking could provides targets and reference for field surveying, provide basic information for analyzing and checking. It is important method to improve the quality of data updating.

TD-Keeper is composed by image checking and data management modules, image checking module is used for image checking operations and data management module support efficient management of result data and checking result.

4.2. Characteristics
